How To Put A Halt To A Breakup

You have an troubled feeling that all is not well with your affair. He seems distant…. He spends most of his time with his friends and when he is with you, you tend to fight. But when you think about a future without your guy you find yourself heartbroken at such a outcome. Your truth is that this man is an essential component to the content functioning of your life. So how do you prevent a ominous breakup?

1. Evaluate your connection! And be honest with yourself, as you cannot deal with what you cannot admit. In order to put a halt to a breakup you need to know what your mutual irritations points are. What do you argue about? When you look deep into your heart what do you see as your attitude toward him? Do you feel that he doesn’t do enough around the house or for you or your children? Have you stopped being grateful for him? Are you always looking for ways to change him and telling him what is wrong with him? Is your central agenda to change-him-into-what-you-want or into the person you know he can be?

2. Stop talking him into change! I know…. you see how he could improve himself and if he just changed this or that he would get things done so much more easily. But you cannot change him by nagging him about what he needs to do as it comes through to him as nagging. Imagine yourself in his position… would you feel loved by a person who just kept seeing your faults only? To stop a break up, you need to alter how you treat him. Think of how attracted you are to people who think you are wonderful. You are happy being around people who tell you how great you are and can go into details of why you are so great (…they care for those attributes in you that you always imagined you had but they had the good sense or brilliant insight to see in you).

3. Bring to mind!  What do you like about him? What features of his do you love? Now centre on these good attributes that you appreciate about him and then search for a way to tell him about what you like about him. Don’t tell him all the good qualities in one instance or he will not believe you and you will feel unnatural since the shift would be too sudden. Shift slowly from always focusing on the negative to focusing on the good. You will still see some of his bad habits but sprinkle the good compliments very (very!) meagerly with the sporadicbad comment. When he is in the office and he thinks of you , you want his recollection of you to be mainly pleasant and not unpleasant. We tend to focus on the negative so to stop a break up you need to work at focusing on the good.

Of course if he is cheating on you then thats an entirely different story.

Signs Husband Is Not In Love

Are you wasting nights speculating if your relationship has floundered on the rocks, knotting your tummy each time he talks dreading those two words ‘it is over’? Completly understandable especially when you have grown comfy and don’t want to burst that make believe fairy bubble of you and him living happily until death parts you.

Unfortunately the signs that it’s coming to an end are all there so you cannot deaden yourself forever. Here are some signs husband is not in love.

1) Time is one among many apparent breakup signs.  How he spends his time speaks a lot about your relationship. If he doesn’t ring the bell at your door anymore, doesn’t remember that cup of tea after work and generally ‘hustled’ becomes his frequent by word, then you have a serious problem. If he is the thoughtful type or is too afraid to break up with you, then he will give you a date after a long period but don’t be suprised though if he leaves quickly.It may not be new work commitments but maybe, just maybe, another woman is taking your time.

2)Lack of communication is another of the obvious signs of a cheating husband/boyfriend. A healthy relationship is founded on letting each other know whats happening. So if he doesn’t bother calling and he either doesn’t call you back or does so once in a long while then he could be losing interest in you and you may be headed for a break up. Leaving messages would not take to much from him would it?. If communication has died or is disappearing this is one amongst many clear signs husband is not in love and for your relationship to carry on you must stem this flow!

3) Funds do not flow in your path.When the money stops coming in, it’s time to move on. Obviously…you are not in it for his money. Well, if that helps you sleep at night, but if he is not using some of his money on you, he is spending it on someone else. Unless of course he is stingy who has never, even in the heady early days, used any money on you. And that is a whole other problem. We use our money on the things that we love or care about so if he is not using money on you then what does it say about how he thinks about you.

4) He has new tastes. A symptom of a new power in his life. Out of the blue he likes the color pink for his shirts and ties although he until that time thought it was too feminine. He now takes hours on his appearance and has changed his scent, one of the signs husband is not in love. Just out of interest, when was the last time he wore that shirt that you got him for christmas? Don’t sweat it girl, a new love interest is running his clothing tastes.

5) He is playing psyche games. You have fights over the tinyest things and lately the slightest thing seems to lead to a blow out, a great foreboder of a breakup. You tread on egg shells around him and any questions or comments become an argument. He is grumpy and says horrible things! Take heed, he is shifting blame to confuse you.
