A Lesson In Love

I am a male who has found it hard to mix and understand the female form and as such has found it some what difficult to find love. I suppose the fact that I had a stuttering problem did not help or maybe that was just my excuse.

Having a stutter also affected my career where I worked selling patio doors and French doors - this was not exactly an industry where I would have the opportunity of meeting many women!

I am quite short for a male and always prefer to date women who are smaller than I am. This of course means that the “field” is reduced some what. I also like women who are very down to earth and who are quite relaxed about life, not too into themselves for example. I also prefer them to be brunette with a nice smile and attractive eyes, a slim figure would also be a bonus.

What I have just described is what I believed to be my perfect girlfriend. This whole notion was blown out of the water around ten years when I had to work on a project at the Psychic Readings company where I worked with a woman called Sam. I believed at the time that she was around 10 years older than me and I have to say that my initial impressions of her were rather shocking to say the least. I now feel rather humiliated by them. What a mess, I thought. She had a distinct lack of make up on; her hair had seemingly not been brushed and her clothes had lets just say “seen better days”.

Despite these first impressions I have to say that Sam was so nice and helpful to me over the next three months. She is probably one of the kindest and purest people I have ever met.

After about ten weeks of first meeting Sam, I started to dream about her and I think I fell in love with her. It was not as if she had started to wear make up or had started to style her hair or started to wear smart clothes - no she was still some thing of a mess. The fact was it did not matter to me anymore, it was what was inside that counted.

I never ever admitted to Sam how I felt as she was married, I think her husband is one of the luckiest men alive.
