Uncondition Love Saved My Marriage, It Can Save Yours Too. - Save My Marriage Today

While being a session, a realization quickly came to me. I was asked to think of a relationship I had with something in the last week that in my mind was the ideal relationship, and to think of what it was about that relationship that made it ideal.

A number of people in the group thought of their cars, tool sheds, families, workmates, old friends, even relationships with objects such as their television remote, recliner chair, diamond jewellery or favorite pair of shoes. To each of these people, these things felt comfortable, and simple. The relationships they had with these people or objects was rewarding and easy to maintain.

When my turn came to identify my ideal relationship, I thought of my dog. My dog doesn’t require in depth or complex needs, and his boost of confidence when I get home feels his needs. I can’t think of any other that greet me happily each night. The type of day I had doesn’t matter, nor does the how long i’ve been gone matter. This is what I refer to as unconditional love.

So what is unconditional love?

Unconditional love is the type of love that comes without conditions. It is the type of love that you have for your partner when the romantic, hollywood-style love is gone. When the romantic love leaves, we begin to notice a “real” love. Loving your partner while knowing they aren’t perfect is real love. You know your partner has faults. Noone is perfect, we all know that. You know your partner makes mistakes sometimes, but that’s okay. You will always still love them. This is referred to as unconditional love.

We’ve put together tools, guides, and answered many questions regarding marriage issues. Click here for more imformation.

Your partner will make faults, but the same thing still applies to you. You acknowledge that you are the same. You will have faults too. You are not perfect. You make mistakes time after time, but it’s okay. We know this as self acceptance, but faults and imperfections are outweighed by unconditional love.

So what do you gain from this? Do we all need to go purchase a dog to show us what unconditional love really is? Maybe we can learn a lesson or two here. We all clutter our lives with trials and tribulations, and there is the temptation to let our issues rule our lives.

If you want to save your marriage, set aside the crap, and let the unconditional love shine through. Having mistakes and faults are okay. And love will conquer them all.

Marriage Saving

Saving Marriage Requires Work

Both you and your partner have to be ready to work hard to mend the pieces of your damaged relationship and understand that it will take both time and effort. The last thing you want is getting your relationship into a bigger mess than it is already.. If it’s really necessary, you may have to be the bigger person and take the first step, although you believe you aren’t the one who is wrong. Sacrifices should be made if you want to reach your marriage saving goals. No one ever said that saving a marriage is simple.

Marriage Saving Means “Stop Complaining”

Complaining can be just as aggravating as nagging. You may not realize this, but constant complaining to your partner is also implying that they’re doing something wrong. You certainly can’t force someone to change. Understand that all real change comes from within. If there are issues with your spouse that you desire to change, they must comprehend this for themselves.

You can alienate your spouse more by trying to pressure him into changing when he isn’t ready or forcing him to believe something he doesn’t believe in. The nonstop badgering will cause your spouse to feel as though you don’t approve of their unique personality .

You can help promote change in your partner by positively encouraging their efforts whenever efforts are made. You understand that change doesn’t come overnight, yet, you’re pleased by their action. Positive reinforcement is much stronger than verbal disapproval.

If you’re the one who always gets the disapproval and objections, then maybe you should try seeing things on a different perspective. Don’t get defensive and instantly start protesting. Instead, make an effort to listen to your partner as well as comprehend the reasons of their nagging.

You should try and hear what your spouse is trying to tell you. You want your spouse to comprehend that you’re making an earnest and sincere effort to view it from their side for a change. Saving marriage is never an easy thing to do. Most especially if you believe that you’re the one in the right but want to show your partner that you’re willing to do whatever it takes to save your marriage.

You may be unable to foresee the positive things that may result by learning to communicate with your partner properly. Even if you don’t end up seeing the matter “eye-to-eye”, your spouse will surely value your efforts in trying to understand their wants and needs.

Last marriage saving suggestion: Be patient and supportive towards each other and understand that saving your marriage will take time. You will get frustrated some days and other days will be easier but all you can do is take it one day at a time. Don’t focus on the little things and avoid confrontations. Keep the end result constantly in your mind and heart. Prove your intent through your actions because talk is cheap.

Marriage Help For Troubled Partners

Keeping your marriage strong is not always an easy thing to do. Sometimes, life leads you to an unexpected turn that gets you nowhere but down. If matters go out of control, there is no turning back to both of you. What’s unfortunate is that marriage help only comes at this stage. And the problems just keep on damaging the marriage because they remain unsolved

Don’t let the situation take control of your life, take note of the following tips:

Be open to change and be changed
Marriage is a bond between two unique sets of individuals, each with his and her own attitude and behavior. So to become happy, both parties have to understand that they have differences and must be willing to adjust their lives in accord to the betterment of their relationship.

Set your standards high
Couple are happier if they set high standards to their partner. This is because they maintain lower tolerance level to bad behaviors that always keep their partner checked and issues solved.

Avoid personal attacks
Arguments cannot be avoided, but when you have conflicts, stick to the issue without giving personal attacks and personal comments to your partner. This will only steer you from the real issue and will never solve the real reason why you are fighting in the first place.

Learn to end arguments
Polite approach to argument prevents it to go out of control. To argue is not to prove that you are right and your partner, it is about opening up the problem and working together to create a lasting solution.

Ask for help early
Again, everything falls into how early can you recognize that there are problems in your relationship and how early will. Remember this: it takes six years before couples seek marriage help for their problems ( and keep in mind that half of marriages that end up happens during the first 7 years. Meaning, a great number of couples keep their problems and live unhappily for a very long time.
