A History Of Pheromones

Many academics have argued whether or not human pheromones or the lack thereof could have caused major changes in {historyour history}. Some say yes while others argue against the idea, that we are not controlled by pheromones alone so their place in history cannot be affected by it. Humans are different to animals and insects that are entirely ruled by scent signals that they receive from animals or insects within their own species.

In history, it was not uncommon for individuals to go extensive spells without bathing or cleansing of any style. As scent signals are enhanced by the volume of sweat on a person’s body, it is believed that the more “unclean” a person was, the more magnetic that their scent signal was. Scent signals can create bonds between a man and a woman, or a woman and her husband, meaning that when the scent signals are around at a consistent level, the bond will last.

However, once people began to wash on a regular basis, the bond between a man and a woman began to degenerate. For example, when the Romans Empire came into being, women and men held their wedding vows above all. But, once the Roman Empire became its strongest, and bathing was encouraged at daily meetings at the local municipal baths, the divorce rate jumped to a high rate. Many researchers believe that the divorce rate was in direct correlation to the fact that the Romans were bathing on a regular basis and thereby were removing their personal scent signals.

As there has been research into this area, it is now normal practice to utilize merchandise that will imitate natural scents. The key to using oils or products to enhance or create a pheromone signal is to use more than a dab, but not a lot as to be considered over-bearing. Another thing to remember is to not use multiple fragrances. When a multitude of fragrances are used the scent signal that is given off can become very confusing. Most products are used in order to entice someone of the other gender and they can be huge confidence boosters when searching for a potential partner.

Researchers and scientists have hit yet another debate in regards to our scents. Some believe that the rise and fall of great nations such as the Roman Empire is a result of scents or the lack thereof. Others are not so quick to accept this stand because there are other factors that can be tied to the fall of said nations. However, it is known that pheromone signals are what ties someone to another and if that chemical is nonexistent or diminishes over time, the physiological reactions of others will also decrease. The use of products, whether it is oils or perfumes have become commonly used in order to imitate the body’s natural pheromones.

Pheromones - The Truth Behind Them

There has been a lot of talk over the last few years about the power of pheromones and how we should all be buying them out of a bottle from a perfume shop if we want to attract the opposite sex. However, 90% of the info being banded about is not true and has instead been made up by the people trying to sell them. Here are 3 facts that should help clear things up and allow you to get the most from your natural pheromones.

Others don’t work. You cannot buy a bottle of either someone else’s pheromone parfum or synthetic ones and expect them to work. Each pheromone is unique to one person and represents their body. If you cover yourself in someone else’s pheromones it will not be a match and the positive effects will not occur. Further to this, the fake pheremones will combine with your real ones can cause a confusing and ineffective product

Don’t sweat it. Don’t think that you are giving off lots of wonderful pheromones when you come in dripping with sweat from a run. It is true that pheromones can be released from sweat glands but the two are very different things.Although pheromones don’t have any scent, lots of people mistake them for the smell that is given off by bacteria in your sweat.

Deodorants cover up pheromones
.  A problem that a lot of people have is that they want to use their pheromones to attract others but don’t want to sweat or smell so cover their bodies in deodorant and perfume fragrances. When the skin has just been cleaned, this is when it produces the most pheromones. Thus, waiting a good 10-15 mins before sticking on your smelly products will give the skin time to cover itself fully. A light and airy perfume or deodorant is also best applied afterwards to avoiding masking the pheromones too much
